Port Chalmers Town Hall in Dunedin Visited on 2/2/2019 Port Chalmers Town Hall is a historical venue. It is not that user friendly because visitors have to climb quite a number of steps of an external uncovered staircase to reach the Hall. The Hall is a bit barn like, with timber floor. The stage is just a few inches above the f,oor level.

What a lovely old building. Recently refurbished. Very tastefully done.
Nice design. Just across the Maritime museum.
Excellent venue for intimate concerts. The stage is only about 200mm above the auditorium floor, making it feel less of a 'us & them' experience.
Xmas Santa cave wonderful for a small donation kids experience a little taste of magic certainly worthwhile for all young and old
