Poppy Seads BNB is located in a quiet rural setting just 5 minutes north of Otaki. We are close to local beaches, and we are just 20 minutes to Kapiti, the gateway to beautiful Kapiti Island. There a 4 golf courses all located within 20 minutes of the property, including world class Paraparaumu Beach Golf Links. Access to the Tararua Forest Park is located close by, as well as Nga Manu Bird Sanctuary.

We are the prefect location for events in Wellington, as the train is only a short 15 minute drive and we can offer pick up and drop off to the train for a small fee. The train will take you directly to the Westpac stadium for events such as the Rugby, concerts, or just a day trip into the beautiful capital.

Otaki also hosts the annual Maori Film festival and kite festival.

You will have your own private access, bedroom with a king sized bed, a lounge with Netflix, Tea coffee, fridge and a light breakfast is provided daily. Please note there is no cooking facilities in the BNB but there is a BBQ available for your use if required along with a private outdoor area to enjoy the summer sun.

Relax and unwind in the spa overlooking rural farmland and enjoy the peace and quiet but still be close enough to Otaki or Levin to enjoy a meal out or a wander around the outlet shops in Otaki.

We can offer a paddock for horses for those travelling between the North and south island with plenty of parking for a float of truck.

You will have full access to the south wing of our house which is completely private, but we do live in the other wing of the house, therefore we do ask for quite time after 10pm and do not allow parties on the property.

There are friendly dogs on the property but they will not have access to the BNB, however the cats wills wander in if doors are left open. There are also sheep and cattle on the property so farm gates must remain closed.
