My wife and I regularly visited this place for ice cream. Each time we went, service was always on point - polite and positive. They also allow you to test taste some flavors to ensure you are happy with the flavor you have chosen.nnIt is very close to Pilot Bay. So if you want, you can take the ice cream, walk 5 minutes to Pilot Bay and enjoy the ice cream and the view.nnThey also have seats inside and few seats outside. We had ice cream at the bar, watching people walk past. Having ice cream at the bar wasn’t also bad.nnThey have tremendous amount of flavours - from waffles, real fruit ice cream, to cold plate ice cream. Today, we tried real fruit ice cream and it did not disappoint. The portion is generous. At past visits, we always had cold plate ice cream and it’s a must-try! Different texture created by mixture of various ingredients is amusing.nnI would definitely recommend this place if you love ice cream. Real fruit ice cream is excellent but cold plate ice cream is even better.
The hand made ice cream was spot-on! Flavor was bangin', texture was smooth as, and you could tell they used top-notch ingredients. Loved the creative flavors they whipped up. Overall, it was a solid experience, would totally recommend giving it a go!
Ordered 3 belgian waffles for 18NZD each. The waffle texture was so soft and overall delicious. A bit overpriced for the size of the waffles we received, though.
Hands down THE BEST Ice cream in Tauranga/Mount. For years there was a different lovely owner and it just changed a few months ago and I was just hoping the keep up the standard, but, they even made it better. The Inside looks lovely and updated and they kept the same yummy flavors, and most importantly the scoop sizes!!!! You get solid scoops for your money, not like other places were they do a tiny scoop. Also the Belgian waffels are just unbelievable. The apple crumble is divine. Always coming back.
We visited here while on holiday. We only tried ice cream which was great. The service was very quick. This place is obviously a well known spot for many people as it was busy pretty much every time we visited.
