Friendly, patience and accommodating staff members who are also child friendly. Their portion are generous and their prices are reasonable. If it's shiny you better be prepared to be in the queue for awhile. The hotter the day, the longer is the queue. However, it always is worth it.
They’re popular for a good reason, the ice creams they have taste really good. That and they’re the ones near the exit/entrance of the trail up to Mt. Maunganui.
Good food but poor service. We tried to ask for a wooden spoon for our 2-year-old girl. We were told that they would not offer a spoon with cone. So we paid 0.5 NZD for a paper cup and put the ice cream upside down in.Then we asked for the spoon again. The lady refused. She even tried to take the cone from us to in exchange of a wooden spoon. The salesmen looked very embarrassed too. I have no idea why the lady-in-charge would treat the guests like this.
I LOVE COPENHAGEN CONES. I have been going to the mount every year for around 3-4 weeks for as long as I can remember and every year without fail I have always gone to Copenhagen. My family and I have been going forever, it was my grandparents favorite place, my parents, my siblings, and mine. This year, I have gone EVERYSINGLE day. I love it. My favorite thing to get is a snowgurt and they are so satisfying and most of all the yummiest most addicting things I have ever consumed. The house made cones are also spectacular. Overall, my favorite ice cream place in the entire world and I’ve been to Italy. I am a fein for Copenhagen cones.
Our whanau decided to grab dessert from Copenhagen cones Mount Maunganui after enjoying fish + chips at Pilot Bay. What fantastic professional friendly service, it wasn't too overly crowded when we popped in early evening.nWe ordered 2x sundaes and an ice cream in a waffle cone.nAbsolutely delicious nDefinitely recommend trying one of their tasty treats they have on offer! You can choose any flavor and amount of ice cream and toppings to your liking
