Great pub in Rotorua , we ordered the pulled pork buns for an entree - delicious . Mains: Lamb shank & NZ lamb burger . Both delicious , very filling large meals , great atmosphere with the open fire place outside & tunes. Large variety of tap beers . Plenty of heating & natural light with cafe blinds protecting you from the elements if cold. Staff were happy , friendly & helpful . Highly recommended.

Had the pot pie at Pig & Whistle and it was absolutely unforgettable. Rich, hearty filling with perfectly tender beef, buttery mash on the side and that golden puff pastry top—crisp and flaky heaven. The serving was super generous too. Cosy pub vibes and solid comfort food done right. They’ve also got a great selection of mocktails—loved the in-house sodas!nnTip: Make a booking! This place is so popular.

Food was absolutely amazing I would suggest if youre just visiting rotorua to come here. I gave atmosphere 3 stars simply because it was quite loud and difficult to talk to each other. The service was incredible we have a friend with chronic fatigue and the heat really exacerbates his symptoms and we were sat under a heater and they had no problem letting us move to another day to accommodate him. I would highly suggest the brisket fries appetizer and the pot pie along with the chicken sandwich.

This place is absolutely incredible! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and amazed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was simply outstanding—every dish was bursting with flavour and beautifully presented. The waiters and waitresses were exceptional, offering friendly and attentive service that made our experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Firstly, amazing atmosphere. Super cool. Secondly, the staff is insanely nice. Now the most important part. It is the top 2 veggie burgers I've ever had in my entire life. It was to die for. Yes it was more expensive than most veggie burgers I've had, but it was also pretty worth it. If you don't come here, you're totally missing out. Also love the local kombucha
