Spent 1 night on powered motorhome site. Nice clean site. Level hard surface. Perfect for ferry port. Some reviews mentioned traffic noise and there is a bit of that but it didn't affect our sleep.
I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but this motor camp has become the center of a truck stop. The truckers are using all the side streets as a staging area before they depart for the Wellington ferry. A lotnDiesel motors running and overwhelming fumes is not a pleasant experience for the folks who are staying at the motor camp.
Great for catching the early morning ferry. Very clean bathrooms. Great kitchen. Only thing is massive lorries are thundering past the camp site all the time to get to the ferry. Recommend you bring earplugs. Popped mine in and didn’t hear anything and slept well.
Easy to get to when you come off the ferry. Very clean and tidy. There seems to be a couple of chalets to rent as well
Very small camper van park. Stayed in a powered site. Amenities clean and showers are free. Really convenient when coming in late off the ferry. Unfortunately very close to the truck route.
