Perfect park up for a camper for the night. Site is well maintained and clean. Very friendly operators. Great location in Picton if you’re needing a stop over before ferry crossing. If you are light sleeper the noise could be an issue but didn’t bother us.
We booked a night with our caravan on a powered site. Perfect spot at a reasonable price. Great laundry, lounge, kitchen, TV, everything you could want, and exceptionally clean. A short walk to eateries, especially the Clarendon Hotel, where you get an exceptional meal - huge - and very tasty at a reasonable price! Just 750 metres to the Ferry terminal. We highly recommend this place.
We stayed one night in a standard cabin on the way to catch an early ferry to Wellington. We were very impressed. Lovely cabin with tv and efficient heater though it wasn't needed. The toilets and kitchen were spotlessly clean. Easy to book our cabin and only 2 mins to the ferry terminal. We will always stay there on our way to and from the Nth Island. Super impressed.
We've stayed a few times to go on and off the ferry. Always they've gone out of their way to accommodate what we need. This time was three vehicles and a trailer lol. And they got us in. Clean, tidy and so we'll placed to the ferry terminals and town.
Stayed in a camper. Pleasant campsite. Easy last minute booking and check in. Facilities were spotlessly clean. Nice toilets, kitchen and lounge area. Good location and easy walk to town. Quite a small site though so may be worth booking in advance.
