Our flights came in very early in the morning 1am, arrived at reception where we were warmly greeted. The young man drove us to our room, carried all our bags and was extremely pleasant. Dinner the next evening was excellent from the pre-dinner drink in the bar to the end. The staff listened to our requests and were also able to follow up on our request for port which wasn’t on their menu. Only down side was the lack of housekeeping staff following the problems with COVID. BUT, what staff they did have were fantastic.
Unfortunately, the whole place has become rather shabby: worn & peeling paint, marks on the skirting, walls thin enough you can hear the people next door snoring, dirty upholstery, noisy fridge… should I go on? The service is sincere, dinner delicious, breakfast generous although slow, just don’t expect a 5-star experience here anymore
Amazing rooms! The large king bed was so comfortable. The views over the lake and golf course were relaxing. The restaurant was very good and the staff very helpful.Rooms: 5/5
We attended a wedding at Peppers Clearwater. It was held outside, and while we were waiting for the bridal party, the automated sprinklers began randomly spraying. Our two-year-old son was squirted directly in the face and was completely soaked from head to toe, as were other guests. It understandably took quite a long time to calm him, and he ended up sitting through the wedding with a blanket wrapped around him since his clothes were wet. There was very little offered by the resort staff as recourse other than, "Sorry, it was a mistake." I can only hope the exceptionally gracious bride and groom were compensated in some way for the derailment of their wedding day.
No privacy at all! booked lake view room for honeymoon. next door can clearly see inside our roominclude bed from their balcony. Requested to change room.I am told fully booked. Next day have room available, But we have to pay $150+ gap. we paid for the lakeview room, but we have to keep curtains closed all the time. very disappointed.
Our Lakeview suite apparently had an issue, prior to us checking in, but they accommodated and put us in the Garden suite which still has a very beautiful view of lake. Suites are very nice and spacious with comforts of home.
Great place to stay a couple of days. Rooms are spacious, and meals in the restaurant were very nice. Customer service was excellent. Very highly recommendedRooms: 4/5
We found it a perfect place to relax and have a nice, quiet weekend. The room facing the lake offered some amazing sunset views. Very romantic and comfortable.Rooms: 5/5
Great location, beautiful resort area. Recommend to have a car as your room may be located far away from the reception.
Delicious meals and lovely to be able to just stroll over to the dining room. Staff very friendly and helpful.Rooms: 4/5
