Great sheltered beach for kids. The tide marks on the beach today were green and slimy. I hope the water is tested regularly by the council

Nice beach next to Port Taranaki. If you go for a walk along the beach take a bag. Lots of rubbish coming out of the storm water drains that feed onto the beach.

Sunday seaside markets a god place to visit for food and interesting things on sale, tasting beer, fudge, clothing, garden thingies and a lot more

Great beach... good for everything.... even hsd fish and chips for dinner down there

Seaside markets first Sunday of every month. Lunch was wonderful. Always good markets. Spent way too much money though. Good beach as well.

Great beach, the area is seeped in history.  Good place for a quick dip and some fish and chips whilst watching the waves and boats.

Great place for kids amazing playground the beach is awesome and sheltered so the waves are gentle and little ones. There is a shower and changing room. There is a grass area with benches and there is a sand area for amazing sand castle and picnic play.
