Park Narodowy Góry Cooka - jeden z czternastu parków narodowych w Nowej Zelandii. Zlokalizowany jest w centralnej części Wyspy Południowej w Alpach Południowych i zajmuje powierzchnię 707 km². Został utworzony w 1953 roku. Tak jak pozostałe parki narodowe w Nowej Zelandii, jest zarządzany przez Departament Konserwacji. Należy do grupy Te Wāhipounamu - czterech nowozelandzkich parków narodowych wpisanych razem na listę światowego dziedzictwa UNESCO.

Very nice scenery, but Google map seems not putting me at a right spot. It’s about 2.5 hrs drive from Wanaka, and mostly flat or gentle slopes surfaces. Not what I would assume to be mountainous drive. Along the way, you will be able to view the snowy mountains and beautiful Lake Pukaki. There is a Mobile Petrol station along the way in case you are worried about fuel level.
Very tall Good walk Takes about half hour if your legs are up to it
Like most places in the South Island, the scenery is magnificent, a wonderful place to be.
Absolutely beautiful! Nice scenic drive, stopped off in tekapo for lunch. Nice big car park with ample amount of toilets, lovely grassy areas everywhere to lay down and rest after the long walk to and from the destination. Great on a sunny day, we could even hear the ice breaking, not lucky enough to catch it on film though. Plenty of resting stops along the way and photo opportunities. Highly recommend for the whole family
Nice and easy walk of 3 hours return. Has spectacular views and landscape along. Has a nice wooden path and 3 bridges which leads to a lake at the end with great view of Mount Cook. Good for kids too! : Very photogenic place.
Iconic mountain and even more brilliant buried in snow. Very fortunate for Canterbury to have an abundance of snow.
Stayed at the White Horse Hill camping ground 2 nights fantastic place but be aware the toilets are closed during the winter but they do have long drop toilets in front of the lodge. Awesome walks and views highly recommended
Pulled up to the on a jet ski yeah Saw an Eskimo she lookin sexy ooh Took her to my ghetto room and laid her down The lady tried to trip out and arrest me okay Now I booked this trip tryna go on vacay aye I ended up with no money and a baby Like the other dude said they took my socks And lit up in my rooms to smoke rocks All in all not bad I recommend But not a good place bring a friend don't delete dis
Amazing location with dramatic mountains, a large range of easy to very hard climbs available and the hut facilities are great. Limited mobile reception once you're in the hut and important to know what you're getting into in terms of weather. The winds, snow, rain and sun can change very quickly so best check with local guide's or the department of conservation websites for safety. Quite a few avalanches whilst I was there in spring. Like 10+ per day on various slopes - some small, some bigger
