Went there recently enroute to Kaikoura. First time ever. I had a pepper steak pie, half a Paris Brest and two extra hot lattes. All delicious. Great staff too. An older man was slowly ordering a cake for his birthday and they were so kind to him. Recommended!
Just stopped here for coffee which was good + wanted to grab some beead but discovered all the breads were just sitting out where people were standing and ordering- not covered at all. People were coughing etc by them which put me off. It might be a good suggestion to keep these items covered around high traffic areas, just like the rest of the food is covered in this area!
Everytime I visited this cafe, I always got the friendly welcome from staff.nCoffee and food are great with good prices.
I recently discovered this bakery heading from chch to work in culverdon. I have visited damn near every bakery in Canterbury but this one is up there with the best. I visit them early in the morning so get to see their full selection and it's great. The pricing is also great
The fruit tart looked appealing but the taste was okay. Neither the shell nor custard inside were outstanding compared to other French bakeries. Staff were friendly.
