We stopped here for lunch while driving from Kaikōura to Akaroa, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The daily pasta special was delicious—fresh, flavourful, and exactly what we needed after a morning on the road.nnThe café has a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere with plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a pleasant place to take a break and stretch your legs. Its location right next to a petrol station is also incredibly convenient, allowing travellers to refuel both themselves and their vehicle in one stop.nnA great roadside stop with good food, a welcoming atmosphere, and all the practical conveniences road-trippers could ask for. Highly recommended if you're travelling this route.

This place was a real gem of a find. The staff were so friendly and helpful.nThe food was delicious, I had a breakfast and my husband had poached eggs on gluten free toast. This place is popular with locals which is a good sign that it is a good place to come. Make sure you visit.
Really lovely little cafe! Everyone was so welcoming and kind, the food was delicious and the coffee was great. Would absolutely recommend to anyone in the area!
