I love this theatre and will be sorry to see it close this year. It's a pity that someone does not step up and buy it. As a family I have enjoying going for years.
This theatre is a bit under rated in my books. I enjoy it and the festivals that this place hosts throughout the year. It is an older theatre of Wellington but it adds to the character of the building.
Like the best artists, the Paramount is a little shabby but fiercely honest and authentic. Located in Wellington's entertainment district, its 3 screens offer a great range of mainstream and indie films that might be missed by the big movie outlets.
I like this place. Very comfy. You can take wine in with you to the movie. More Indie movies here than Hollywood Blockbusters
Character theatre with a long history. A great venue for grassroots events like the 48 Hours. Will be a great shame if it does close.
Comfy seats, but no cup holders! Very cosy atmosphere. Also, $9.50 for a student ticket!
I really like this cinema a real sense of character and also great to sit outside on the balcony overlooking Courtenay Place with a beer/wine/coffee on the nicer days/evenings. Hidden gem.
Always have a great time here. Relaxed atmosphere, decent prices, and you can choose where you want to sit!
The seats are slightly uncomfortable. To me it seems more like a big lounge with couches rather than a cinema. Good movie selection though.
