Most of the photos in Google Maps are not entirely from this lookout, see below to see accurate ones taken on the top. Moderate walk, definitely worth taking if in the area, lots of young Maurice trees on the way
Ten out of ten to the people that set this up and have planted all the Kauri trees. Walking to the lookout is well worth the effort. We carried on with the Harray track that takes a two and a half hour loop back to town. This track has been affected by development and the track can be hard to follow but we hardly went wrong and completed in good time. Recommended. Lots of Tui to be heard and seen while close to the coast.
