Palmers Plimmerton is consistently great. The staff are knowledgeable and happy to help without hovering, the plants are always healthy, and the range suits local conditions really well. I’ve bought everything from veggie seedlings to shrubs and supplies here and have always had good results.nnIt’s easy to get practical advice if you need it, but also a nice place to browse if you already know what you’re after. Easily one of the better garden centres in the Wellington region.
Absolutely love Palmers! The environment is beautiful, full of greenery, and very calming from the moment you walk in. Staff are knowledgeable and super friendly — great if you have plant questions or need advice. Even the toilets are clean and well maintained, which says a lot about how they care for the space.nnThe café is a perfect place to rest after browsing. The coffee is excellent, and the muffins are a must-try — soft, sweet, and freshly baked.nnI also really appreciate that it’s pet-friendly — it’s lovely to see people walking their dogs around. Whether you’re plant shopping, relaxing, or just grabbing a coffee, Palmers is definitely worth visiting!
What an awesome place & much bigger than I thought. They had a great area that had BBQs for sale along with a wide range of stuff required for BBQs. They had all the garden items you would need along with gifts & cards. Large nursery range as well. Would gladly visit again.
Fantastic selection of plants everything you could think of for your garden, cafe it brilliant food incredible
We had lunch here at the café. Popular place great food and service. Toilets on site. Lovely garden centre with some homeward gifts etc.
