Great size for a busy coastal area. I always love food shopping.nLots of people and nice staff. Carparks a bit tight, so suck in when getting in and out.
I bought a 48.00 Frozen roll of scotch fillet as a treat but when we cooked it and my husband is a very good cook and ex butcher apprentice it was not scotch fillet at all. It was so tough it was like stewing steak . Its a disgrace pns are passing this off as scotch fillet
Travelled to Thames store for an advertised special on sparkling wine, checkout charged full price, it was implied we were trying to get a more expensive wine at the discount price. Totally incorrect, there was no other signage with any other price other than the discounted price. We were buying a dozen bottles. We had a follow-up call apologising, but that didn’t help after such a disheartening experience and a wasted trip which ended with no bubbles. Some ladies outside in the car park said they had the same experience.
Dissapointed in thames pac n save, absolutely produce is brown and rotton, the staff are taking all the brown off and putting back on shelves overpriced at that, my chops I got from there were rotton as well just to name a few but overall not good quality neither affordability. Wake up and respect your customers...
This is my first time I have done my grocery shopping at PaknSave Thames.nnMy shopping experience was fantastic although reading quite a lot of bad reviews at Google.nnAs I had discovered one of the packets of Bluebird potato chips was broken after paying for all the grocery at the checkout counter, I went to the Customer Service Counter. A lady by the name of Adel was extremely helpful and friendly who asked me to get a new packet of potato chips.nnI highly recommend you to go there if you live in Thames, Coromandel or Whitianga.
