Our scheme is a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) venture. What this means is that the participants share in the farm, its triumphs and failures. The community of participants supports the farm by
1) committing to the full 25 weeks;
2) paying for the veges before they're delivered (as outlined below);
3) Participating in our voluntary working bee if desired;
4) Come to the celebration dinner at the conclusion of the scheme (if you want to).
We grow all the vegetables and some fruits. We anticipate what will be the best plants for the season and these veges are distributed equally each week.
So there's 25 weeks in the scheme. We'll divide this into 3 segments, one of 9 weeks and two of 8 weeks. The total for the 6 months is $700 which can be paid up front or payments are broken down as follows:
First installment due on or before 8th November - $252,
Second installment due 10th January - $224,
Third installment due 7th March - $224.
The weekly payment works out at $28
