Team please do something about people who don’t have babies parking in moms and tots parks. Not ideal with a screaming 3 month old to have to walk miles in the pissing rain. It’s such a valuable initiative for mums it would be great to stay ontop of it :
Have been buying your instore pizzas for a number of years.nThe increase in price seems to come around rather quick from$11.95 a little while ago up till today's jaw dropping $18.99.nThat straw has broken this camels back.nNo more basic pizzas for us you just priced yourself out.nDisappointed !!!!
We just had a very unpleasant ending at PAK’n SAVE Richmond. We have been travelling around New Zealand for our honeymoon for the last 6 weeks and have predominately been shopping at Woolworths and New World. Today we decided to give PAK’n SAVE a go and had a pleasant experience initially however when we got to check out we had a staff member and someone she was training both young ladies ask for our IDs as we were buying groceries and 1 x 6 pack of beer. We provided our British driving license and ID document. We are 31 and 30 which our IDs showed but we were not told unless we showed our passports we could not purchase the beer. We had spent the morning hiking so did not have our passports on us. We understand that a passport is the primary legal ID needed for foreigners but given we are over 30 and definitely don’t look under 25 this is not great service. We have not been ID checked at any other supermarket or restaurant on our entire trip which is telling. We understand if there was a question with our age but given that our driving license had been seen, we should have been able to complete our shop. Based on this, we will not be shopping here in the future.
Good prices . Layout is useful and if you can not find an item just ask the staff. Good prices on basics like bread and butter but nearly everything is there. There is an aisle of exotic food behind the bins of dried fruit seeds and sweets on the first aisle .nGood wine selection.nLots of parking but remember backing out and try and get a park to drive out from.nThe name says it all, pack and save.n5 Dollar weeks are good.Baked goods great.Very busy before holidays and in weekend. Rainy days mean farmers and farm workers come in. Early morning best.
We’ve been shopping at Pak’nSave for the past 4 months with no issues, until today. A blonde older woman working self-checkout seemed suspicious from the start, hovering over us as we scanned our groceries like we were about to launch a heist.nnSeemingly disappointed to find we weren’t stealing anything, things got especially strange when we tried to buy a single bottle of wine. We’re both 28, and my partner showed his valid overseas driver’s license when asked for ID. Apparently, that wasn’t acceptable—we were told only a NZ ID or passport would work. Because, of course, everyone carries their passport to buy groceries. As we both look older than 28 we have NEVER been I’D in NZ or UK.nnI offered a digital copy. “Won’t do,” she said, before ominously warning us, “I’d be carrying my passport everywhere if I were you.” Ma’am, I just want a wine, not a visa.nnIn the end, we left the wine and went to Conning’s down the road, same wine, same price, no unnecessary drama, and way better customer service. Disappointing experience from a store we’ve been regularly supporting and won’t be anymore.nnUPON reading other reviews from another international couple I can’t help but wonder if this is some kind of prejudice being played out from a woman on a power trip.
