Pak’nSave Pukekohe is a solid option if you’re out that way and looking to do a big grocery run without spending too much. It’s got that usual Pak’nSave feel — no frills, basic presentation, and a layout focused more on function than looks — but the store itself is clean, well-organised, and easy to get around.nnThe size of the store is decent, not huge but big enough to handle the essentials without feeling too cramped. Aisles are wide, shelves are usually well-stocked, and the layout is pretty straightforward once you get used to it. Prices are the big drawcard here. You’ll usually find good specials, and the standard prices across most products are cheaper than other supermarket chains in the area.nnThe produce section is a bit mixed — sometimes you’ll find really fresh fruit and veg, other times it’s more average — but it does the job. The meat section usually has a decent variety and some solid deals if you’re shopping for a family or stocking up for the freezer. The bakery is basic but reliable, with the usual breads, rolls, and a few baked treats.nnStaff are generally helpful when needed, though it’s mostly a self-service type of place. If you ask, someone will usually point you in the right direction, but it’s not the kind of store where you get lots of small talk or interaction. Checkout can get busy at times, especially on weekends, but they usually open enough lanes to keep things moving, and there are self-service checkouts too for quicker trips.nnParking is usually fine. The carpark has plenty of space and getting in and out isn’t too much of a hassle, even when it’s busy. Location-wise, it’s handy for locals and people from surrounding rural areas who want to do a big shop in one go.nnJust like most Pak’nSaves, what’s shown online doesn’t always line up with what’s in-store, so it’s worth keeping your shopping list flexible.nnAll up, Pak’nSave Pukekohe does exactly what it’s meant to — good prices, decent range, and a no-fuss shopping experience. It’s not a fancy spot, but if you’re trying to save money and don’t mind a more basic setup, it gets the job done.
PaknSave is my go-to supermarket for a hassle-free and affordable shopping experience!nnThe prices are always reasonable, and I appreciate the value for money. But what really sets PaknSave Pukekohe apart is the exceptional customer service!nnFrom the friendly staff who pack my groceries on the shelves to the checkout operators and even the security guards, everyone greets me with a smile and a welcoming attitude. It's a refreshing change from the usual impersonal supermarket experience!nnThe produce is always fresh, and I've never had any issues with expired goods. The self-checkout system is also a breeze to use, perfect for when I'm in a hurry or only have a few items.nnAnd let's not forget the convenience of having a fuel station on site! It's a one-stop shop for all my essentials.nnOverall, PaknSave is a standout supermarket that truly prioritizes customer satisfaction. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stress-free and affordable shopping experience!
I love their specials savings as much as $5 or more on certain items of foodstuff. compared with other supermarkets. For example tea bags of 100 were sold at $5 where as the normal price was more than $12. I do my shopping here now. I travel all the way from Clarks beach which is about 30 km to shop every fortnight. I also stock up when prices are reasonably good. It is also a pleasant experience to be out and about. Thank yo. Have an enjoyable day.
The selection is fantastic—fresh produce, deli items, and pantry staples are always well stocked and competitively priced. The store is clean, well laid-out, and easy to navigate even on a busy day.nnThe staff go above and beyond: friendly, helpful, and efficient at checkout with plenty of open tills. I appreciate the promotions and savings—there’s always a great weekly deal or bulk buy special that helps me stretch the grocery budget.nnParking is generous, trolley access is seamless, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Whether I’m picking up a few items or doing a full weekly shop, PAK’nSAVE Pukekohe is my go‑to. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality, value, and service!
A go to place in Pukekohe for groceries and petrol. Though not all brands of goods are available, there is a good range of items. Parking and access is good, and petrol available on-site.
