I love shopping at Napier City PaknSave and have shopped here since they first opened up in 2004 I think. And also like it cause they have shop n go scanners,so you can c how much you spend every week especially if you are on a budget they also have scales to weigh and price your fruit vegetables and bulk food which I like to no how much they all cost. If you want something and they don't have it in stock the staff tell you why like once I was looking for corned beef and asked the lady if they had any and she told me that they didn't get their order and was very polite in how she said it wasn't rude at all. Staff are helpful if you can't reach something off the shelves and you ask them they are so happy to help you as I find it hard to reach the shelves with a sore shoulder or the product may be at the back of the shelves. The staff are friendly and polite even the trolley man with the black hair who works during the week and may be sometimes on the weekends gives you a smile when he sees you. The trolley men do a good job and work in all kinds of weather rain hail or sunshine . Paknsave Napier City is my number one shop and will always go their every time to do my shopping no complaints from me
Good specials and when we had an issue with a price the lady who worked there was so friendly and helped us straight away
Not as cheap as they make themselves out to be. Smaller range of products than Countdown. Produce is subpar and overpriced. Staff at the self checkouts can be unnattentive at times when customers need help. Birds have been getting into the store and flying around the building.
Good store, decent size, looks clean and maintained. Big carpark close to other services, including fuel
This store has been steadily going downhill over the last few years. I know there are supply chain issues at the moment but the competition over the road seems to have much less gaps on their shelves. I always have to go across the road to get the basic items I can't get because the shelves are stacked at Pak n Save. Yesterday I found about 10% of the products I did buy didn't have prices on the shelves. A couple of items were a bit of a shock when I checked the receipt - over 50% more than usual price it left me wondering if this was intentional. I also have noticed regular differences between shelf price and till prices so have to keep an eye on things as they go through the checkout. Has there been a change to management or have things just got a bit slack? In finishing I will say the staff here are all generally nice so no issues there.
I used to shop here all the time although the staff ate fantastic the place has gone down hill in my opinion, the carport used to be full now you have a huge carport to pick from I much prefer pak'nsave Tamatea
They've got a great selection. I thought I would miss my usual Pak n Sav, but I like this one and the staff is very Friendly ND helpful.
The food was dam fresh which was nice to see and the stuff were helping you as well
Worse store ever now made two complaints due to 1 staff member being rude disrespecful to us at have mobilty issues hope she has a stroke I told them sack her or never coming back worng pricing aswell
Change of scenery from my usual - slightly bigger store so a bit more variety of stuff, the downside was I had to relearn a new layout to find everything on the list ........ No drama though
