Best prices. Convenient location with ample parking. Awesome opening times

After many years of shopping at this supermarket was disappointed in the hopeless and uncooperative service experience Tue 6 Dec at 8pm.  I travelled some distance to get to this particular store to buy some whole salmon filets for taking overseas the following morning. The young lady serving the delicatessen section said no we have finished selling fish for the day" when it was all still sitting there in the cabinet on display. I told her I had  travelled a long way to purchase fresh salmon and was flying out first thing in the morning but she remained uninterested in assisting me. She then advised that she didnt work in the fish section despite standing behind the counter and just shrugged her shoulders and looked the other way to avoid any further contact with me.  I managed to attract the attention of a chap who worked in the fish section - he said I needed to purchase fish from the display fridge further down the supermarket aisle - after explaining to him that I really wanted to purchase whole fresh fish and $200-300 worth he said in broken English - you need to purchase from prepackaged cabinet and then disappeared into a back room to avoid any further dialogue.  I think the customer service on this occasion was appalling and the staff need some training in interacting politely and helpfully with customers - it doesn't take a lot of effort to do that  - I for one will sadly be giving this store a miss in future and opting for supermarkets like Moore Wilson's and the other major competitors across the road, in Newtown, and downtown WLG who all seem to go out of their way as long as their doors are open to assist customers in any way they can, instead of being disengaged, hopeless and uncooperative.

Full of choices. Also the cashier are a lot so there will be few queues. The prices are truly low and you will have more savings

so good! i from luv this paknsave, whenever i have the car it's dope. money saving - best in wellington, select items weren't as cheap as I remembered but still..not bad at all

I've been here many times. This is probably my favourite pak'save in Wellington, New Zealand. It has a nice feel to it very welcoming. The products are cheap great service. I was offered a free sample which made my day.

We do our weekly shop there znd it's always good value . A special shout out to Nancey and the team in the deli. Excellent display, great food  especially the chicken tenders and we have a great bit of banter.

Refused to give us hundreds of dollars worth of click and collect groceries as apparently evidence of purchase is not sufficient for pick up. Was only told of needing the credit card and identification as we were arriving to pick up. No manager on site. Definitely will not be using this pak'nsave again. Brother in law was also refused groceries as my pregnant sister had made the purchase and not him was at home. Very disgraceful.

I mainly go here to charge my ev. It is a good shop also for your general shopping and for a light snack to have while the car is being fed. You can see the charging point from the road, so that helps.

Best supermarket in Wellington. Go here for cheap meats and surprisingly good baguette and grab the specialty produce from Moore's.

Excellent. The layout is a combination of the Petone and Lower Hutt stores. A pleasant surprise was the availability of meat products unavailable elsewhere, even in the nearby Hutt Valley. Further, this store has a small cafe, so definitely the King of Pak N Saves in my opinion.
