New World Karori

Nice little supermarket. Good layout. Has most things that the larger cousins have. Friendly service. Access from inside mall. Does not have good accessible parking though - few spaces and on slope; compliant with NZS4121:2001. Has bus stop close however.

I have been coming here again and again for my groceries. It’s located near my house and they have quite complete items you will need on daily basis. Fresh produce, fruits and veggies, meat and dairy, rice and noodles, bread, spices and baking needs, body care, cleaning supplies and more. What I like best is that they have some halal items, like the chicken from Tegel, and various ready - to - cook items like vegetarian spring rolls and even halal gelatins. The staff are friendly and check - out time is mostly smooth. The opening hours is also long enough ao I can shop after working hours. As it is located in Karori Mall, it has spacious parking spots and disability friendly as well.

Tiny supermarket crammed with almost everything. It's a dairy compared to other supermarkets. Staff always polite. Has better quality produce.

Great little supermarket

My local supermarket has improved greatly in the last 12-18months. Still cramped in places but there are plenty of staff who are only too willing to offer assistance.

Couldn't find wasabi peas, was assisted by 2 young men Conor and Tom whilst they where on break. Helped me out straight away and where very funny too. Also great deli section with very friendly workers

It's nice and staff are friendly. It doesn't carry as much stock as regular New World's do as this is the smallest NW in Wellington, so it's understandable.
