PACIFIC VIEW B&B - Four 1/2 Star Accommodation on Coromandel Peninsula

Story

Pacific View with its magnificent 180 degree views is your number one Bed and Breakfast choice on the Coromandel Peninsula. Within this lovely boutique B&B guests have a choice of three luxuriously appointed rooms accessed by an elevator. The Pacific King room with super sized bed, ensuite bathroom and own wrap around balcony - with all the views from the top level of the house. The Pacific Queen Room is located on the middle level and has a private bathroom adjoining. It has access to the middle level balconies gaining access through the lounge or dining room. The brand new Coromandel Room was created during the 2012 winter and has a queen size bed and sumptuous furnishings including gorgeous candelabra lights with Swarovski crystals dazzling you as you enter the room. It is beautifully furnished and includes a coffee table and chairs positioned in front of the picture sliding windows so that guests can soak up the views of Whangamata.

BUT, Pacific View B&B is more than just the magical views.

Breakfasts are a celebration and are included in the tariff. Options include delicious New Zealand fresh seasonal fruits, Kathryn's homemade muesli and as well as a traditional full English breakfast there are also daily specials to choose from such as creamy scrambled eggs with chives or French toast - the choice is yours.

The beds are made with beautiful quality linen and you will find garden fresh flowers, home-made biscuits, fresh ground coffee, bottled water, fine teas and a carafe of complimentary port as well as a selection of New Zealand beer and wines available to purchase in your Mini Bar fridge. As soon as you check in you’ll immediately feel at home – there’s a cup of tea or a glass of beer or wine awaiting your arrival.

Whangamata is New Zealand’s most popular holiday destination with a wonderful choice of activities and where you are able to enjoy the spectacular scenery from misty rainforests to the pristine golden beaches. Pacific View is your perfect base for exploring the entire Peninsula with Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach being an easy drive away. What a wonderful place to stay in Wellington. We stayed here for two nights and were extremely satisfied. The welcome was warm, and the owners were very friendly. The room had a private bathroom down the hall and a personal fridge in another room. All facilities were adequately provided. The owner joins you for breakfast in the morning, which always led to enjoyable conversations. The B&B also has a fantastic view of the bay; you're right by the water. We parked our car on the street near the B&B for two nights, which was safe and, of course, cost nothing. To get to Wellington Center, you'll need an Uber or taxi.
Wow. What a find. Lovely B&B with absolutely amazing views. Fantastic breakfast including bacon Comfortable room with private bathroom. Not en-suite. Fridge also provided. About 20 minutes walk downhill to the local pub for dinner and 5 minutes walk to the bus stop for the city centre and the botanical gardens. Then 30 minutes drive to the Picton ferry. Book early as Janice gets very full. Thanks again Janice we had a wonderful stay.
This was a lovely quiet place to stay. We had the room with a private separate bathroom. We had a wedding to dress for and would have enjoyed a full length mirror in the room as the bathroom steamed up. We really enjoyed the views and the breakfasts. The hosts were lovely and informative. We would certainly go back there.Rooms: 5/5

The house is beautiful and the room is tidy and clean with such a great view. Besides, the hosts are hospitable and friendly, so we had a delicious breakfast and fun chat in the morning. It was nice to stay here and highly recommend this B&B.Rooms: 5/5

Wonderful apartment with a nice Sea view. The place is well maintained and very clean and tidy. The hospitality shown by Janice and Brent are unmatched. They are so caring and friendly, even helped us to solve the drop of issue with our car rental company which made our travel easy. Would have loved to spend more time with such lovely hosts but had to catch the morning ferry. Highly recommended stay and we would love to come back here anytime we visit Wellington again.
Lovely room and breakfast with a great view. Location is a bit outside of center of the city, but if you have your transport it is easy to get in and out. The hosts are lovely as well and told us some great stories from their past at breakfast. Wish we had had more time to stay for few nights.
The hosts were warm and friendly. The room was warm and clean with great views. The firm bed gave us three restful nights. Breakfast was very nice with many options including a cooked breakfast with the hosts spending time talking to us. The location is very quite. We will definately use the Pacific View B&B when visiting Wellington.
Super friendly hosts, very nice room and AMAZING views, yummy breakfast and fantastic value too boot! Sadly I had to leave a day early, due to the people I was in Wellington to visit becoming sick, but I will be back! Highly recommended.Rooms: 5/5
