I have had pleasant experiences with providers here, but unfortunately this whole business is profiting off the failure of the public healthcare system, at the patient’s expense. It is perpetuating inequities where people who have $500 to spare can get the scan they need promptly, while those who don’t have to wait untold amounts of time for the public system, or until their problem becomes so acute that they present in the ED. If it’s an ultrasound you need, I highly recommend looking into Southern Ultrasound in Wanaka!
All the staff are very professional and kind. The service and technology are really good. I know others pacific radiology around nz and the one in Wanaka is luxury!
