Pacific Coast Motor Lodge Whakatane

We stayed at the motel for a month while settling in moving from the UK. We cannot fault Danny and his dedicated team. Thank you for the amazing cleaning services - the ladies are so lovely and accommodating. Danny was very hospitable and went the extra mile to accommodate our extra requests - nothing seemed too much. The beds were comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. The team clearly care about what they do, and it shows. Thank you for such a comfortable stay. :

This motel was absolutely fantastic, check in was done via phone as we were arriving late. The custodians kept in touch with us and the keys were left in our room on arrival. The room was beautiful and clean and had all the ammenities. I would highly recommend, all the staff were friendly and helpful. We booked the family room, and it was big enough not to feel like we were ontop of each other. The teenager spent most of her night hours in the spa bath, needless to say, she was surprisingly awesome to be around without the moodiness ‍. Thank you so much for a comfortable stay. First impression through the door, I thought wow, its very roomy and clean. Each day we stayed the cleaners would come in and she was very friendly . I was very impressed with the cleanliness. The floor felt very clean. Very cozy in the rooms as well, The spa was very spacious, my daughter and my granddaughter had a spa in it. The shower was beautiful, powerful pressure .

Stayed here for 1 night while on our family travels, the staff were so friendly and kind. Made us feel very welcome. We got a one bedroom suite, it was so tidy and well kept. We had a relaxing day, chilled out as a family and had a spa bath. Perfect for our needs! Thank you!Rooms: 5/5

Price is very good for the quality. Not worth going elsewhere because this place has it all. Possibly the best motel I have stayed in.Rooms: 5/5

What a gorgeous place to stay. The lady at reception was lovely. The parking was a bit weird. They had me three car spaces from my room, but not bad really. The unit was awesome. Spacious, tidy, sparkling clean. The hot tub was to die for, this one actually works. The bed was a bit firm for me but I slept well. Did not like the pillows. Was close to town which was a bonus. Also close to a busy road, but you wouldn't think it. Loved it here.

Best owners and staff EVER. So friendly. They went out of their way for us, to look after our bikes, to accommodate. The location was fantastic, with shops, cafes and beach close by. Over the hill to Ohope is close too. We would definitely stay here again. We drove away saying how wonderful the owners were. The facilities were spotless. Thanks for a wonderful stay :0
