From the moment you arrive to the last second you are given 5 star service. From check in, to change rooms, Onsen and massage, everything is fully explained and you are walked by a staff member to everything.nThe onsen was spectacular with snacks and a drink provided as complimentary. The view was amazing and my husband and I couldn’t get enough. The 10 minute notification is great and being greeted at the onsen door by our massage therapist continued the service.nOur 2 hour treatments left us feeling super relaxed. I get claustrophobic with masks during a facial and my therapist was super lovely and made sure I was comfortable the whole time.nThe change rooms are great with hot showers, hair dryer and straighteners.nThe snack and tea post treatment was the icing on the cake, not to mention that amazing view again!nThis experience is worth it as every detail has been thought of to ensure you have a five star experience.
We did the Routeburn trek and booked the onsen tri-bath after we finished our hike and it was the perfect way to relax afterwards. We booked a time around sunset and the views were magnificent. Would highly recommend. The facilities were clean, staff were friendly, and we had a great experience. There were a lot of bookings, but there was plenty of space so it didn't feel crowded in the waiting area. The staff were very efficient so we didn't have to wait long and were on time with our appointment. Would definitely recommend the onsen while in Queenstown!
A really beautiful experience in Queenstown and definitely worth doing, especially in winter. The hot water, the views and the atmosphere were perfect, and everything felt clean, well looked after and relaxing.nnA big plus is that they offer a shuttle service, which makes the whole experience very easy. We also arrived a little early and, since our room was available, they kindly let us start before our scheduled time. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and there is also a nice pre/post area where you can enjoy some hot tea.nnOne tip: I would recommend arriving already wearing your swimwear, as the changing time is included in your booked session once you are taken to your onsen, so changing there can take time away from the experience. They do mention this, but it is definitely worth knowing beforehand.nnFor the price and the overall quality, I think it is excellent value. I would also recommend booking in advance and going during the day, because the view is absolutely stunning.nnThe only small suggestion would be to have lockers, clean towels and maybe some body lotion or post-shower products available in the changing area too, to make the spa feeling continue even after the session.nnOverall, a fantastic and very relaxing experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Queenstown.
A great experience and well-thought out spa. I loved the process from start to finish. They ask you to arrive 30 minutes before your soak or treatment which allows you enough time to get prepared without feeling rushed. The view from the tubs is fantastic. The massage was also great. There is a relaxation room where you can have tea afterward so you don’t feel like you need to leave quickly. The bus stop for the # 4 route drops you practically at the front door, which was nice. We also took advantage of the shuttle to get back into town afterward.
Private onsen with spectacular view. Very friendly staff from the first step we are in until we left. Having a 45 minutes soaking in the private hot pool follow by 1-hour deep tissue massage is very relaxing. We had Listya and Hazel as our masseuses. They are so gentle and professional, the massage pressure is just right for us. The treats after massage session is delightful, the restful tea is the best tea I've ever had. Really recommend this venue.
