Meat lover will love this place. Sweet soy chicken is very nice and variety of sources are provided. Korea BBQ is always fascinating. Hope server is more helpful. Other than great to go with that price.

Best Korean restaurant in Christchurch, a must to visit if you live here or just passing by. The waiter I guessing might be the boss’s son is super friendly, choices of food is awesome a la carte or buffet style, great environment to suit family with children or friends, what else can you ask for. Highly recommended !!

Korean BBQ Buffet - all you can eat, AWESOME ... I had trouble deciding on the choices so tried a wee bit of everything. Honestly, I was so full afterwards Staff were friendly and polite and pretty much left us to explore the dishes. Definitely going back again and probably going to make a habit of it

Visited the resto twice, once for dinner and once for lunch. There was a young chap serving us during dinner time, and he was very enthusiastic about introducing the dishes. Made the whole dining experience better as well. We ordered Samgaetang ginseng chicken soup, japchae, hot plate sliced pork with squid, and a fish dish. Yummm… The next day we came back for lunch as we brought guests to try hot soupy stuff on a rainy day. The young chap wasn’t around and the owner seemed a little more unapproachable as he didn’t smile and talk much. Overall experience not bad.

Thank you - Such awesome service and a great low key relaxed setting. Delicious and generous food. I had the spicy gochujang squid and its the nicest kai ive had in a long time. My picture doesn't do it justice. I loved the side dishes too. Such good flavors and textures, and great kimchi. Was there at dinner time without reservation and they managed to squeeze us in. Food took awhile to arrive but given that it’s a small family business maybe only 1 person cooking in the kitchen we understand. Price is cheap compared to other restaurants. The elders in the family may not be well versed in English that’s why they did not make conversation or tried to be too friendly. Pork dumpling was hand-made. We were expecting it to be instant pre-packed kind but it’s not. Ginseng chicken soup was not those instant pre-packed too. I would say every dishes we ate were handmade.. Kimchi stew was a little too sweet for my liking but it’s still good. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.

Don't even want to give 1 star. Owner was so rude. One of us asked for no onion because of allergy several times but still had onions in dish and owner rolled the eyes to us when he had to take that dish back to kitchen. Didn't even say sorry about his mistake. The food was terrible and the customer service was poor. We won't be back there again.

Our favourite place to eat!! Excellent food, lots of veggies, gorgeous grilled pork ribs and stir fry beef bulgogi. Absolutely love stir fry chicken noodles!! Selection of 6 korean appetizers is served for free and you wouldnt want to miss trying them as they are very unusual and authentic. Great owners and staff! Highly recommended!!!

Four adults and four children, dinner buffet, the same price for children and adults. I think only one marinated beef is delicious but the replenishment is very slow... other cured meats are very salty... expensive and not worth it

Yummy authentic Korean meals in a lovely setting old train station. We had 1 steam dumpling 2 seafood pancake 3 beef noodle hotpot 4 spicy rice cake and 5 BBQ Pork Belly & beef. Korean side dishes eg kimchi, preserved radishes are yummy too. The host is happy to accommodate our ala carte order for individual portions of BBQ meat rather than expecting us to have the BBQ buffet. Good serving size, we 6 pax are full in the end. Thank you for accommodating the small eaters. Buffet would be wasteful with us.
