Oceanside Jiu-Jitsu

Absolutely fantastic environment. My son has been training at Oceanside for 2 years, and the level of coaching, and the genuine care he receives from all of the coaches & other members is second to none. All of the non training family members like myself & my parents & all of the other parents and grandparents etc are made to feel totally at home with tea & coffee always on hand. The new sauna & gym are welcome additions to the facility also with members taking full advantage. Cannot recommend Oceanside enough

Everyone is very welcoming, friendly, and the facilities are the best here. More importantly the coaches are very skillful and good teachers. They leave nothing to be desired there is no watering down at osjj. Also, more often than not they leave the gym open way later than the hours stated on google. So you have the option to roll for basically as long as you want at the end of class or just hang out and have a sauna.

My Friend and I dropped into Oceanside for their open mat session and we felt very welcome right away! This was one of the best gyms I have ever visited - insanely technical jiujitsu and great vibes all around. Would 100% recommend to anyone

Absolutely great gym! I visited with two friends while travelling through and the hospitality was outstanding, we got a full tour of the gym by Kieran. The infrastructure is top notch, including a sauna and an icebath and foot baths at the map entrance. Everyone was also supr nice and the level is great too! Cant recommend this gym enough. Thanks again guys!

Very skilled and dedicated coaches, team members are friendly and accommodating, the facilities is clean, well maintained and they have a sauna too. They just dont teach skills, they make kids champions In BJJ tournament around the country. The Best NoGi BJJ academy here in Zealand. Highly recommended

100% the best BJJ gym in Christchurch! My son has been doing jiu-jitsu for one year and he is absolutely happy here! The main advantage of this gym is, of course, the coaches, definitely the best! I recommend OSJJ to everyone!

Awesome facilities including small gym and sauna. Great coaches with good role models for Oceanside kids classess. Good learning environment for experienced and beginner level practitioners for competitive or recreational no gi Jiujitsu. One of the cleanest gyms I have ever trained at with really good high level instructors.

Awesome gym. First time trying out BJJ and have felt so welcomed and encouraged. I have valued the level of sportsmanship and support from more advanced members too. Great coaching and love the member focused extras like a sauna, icebath and weights room. Highly recommend!
