Great with the creamy paua.nn- Stewart island Wild caught Creamy paua 7.7/10nWould be better without the chewy peices, however it was very delicious. Well seasoned and paired well with the fried bread.nn- Beer battered snapper 7.2/10nBatter was greasy, oily etc. The actual snapper was beautiful, flaky, nice white colour. If less oily the snapper would of been in the 9s.

Saw this place on tiktok with such good reviews but was pretty disappointed irl. Mussels were tiny with no flavor at all. Seafood chowder was just some seafood sauce with defrosted seafood sprinkled on top. Creamy Paua wasn't too bad. Unfortunately, the highlight of our meal was probably the $4 can of Coke.nnEntire floor was drenched with water, on the way to the bathroom which wasn't very comfortable to walk through. Otherwise, seating area was very comfortable/homely and loved they provided gloves for eating.

Simple, afordable and good taste. Love the place considering we're in the trip and out of the city. We ordered take in and out, but somehow the food we tried there were little bit salty. So whenever you get there, dont forget to ask first

Wow we had a unreal experience there.nprices were affordable for the quality and quantity of the meals. very friendly owners and staff. was there from Australia last year and returned this week and they remembered us and welcomed us with open arms and great food. I believe the best fish and chips in Auckland.... big bloody call....

I don't know why there's some bad reviews on here. The food is amazing, the mussels were on point and a steal of a price for $10 for 1 kg as they are steamed to perfection! Juicy and big! The seafood chowder was really good too with the fry bread, a bit pricy for the size of the chowder by around $3 I reckon. The snapper is fresh! And the tastiest around, the piece I had was a tad bit smaller than other takeaways for the less the price. The chips were on point though and the customer service was amazing. Free fish soup to start with. My son definitely loved it. Well done team! Could see ourselves a local here, but definitely a bit pricy that needs matching.nnWent Back: Mussels were still good!!
