The story behind names...
Obsidian vineyard is named after a semi precious stone previously used by Maori tribes living on Waiheke Island. Weeping Sands owes is evocative title to a Maori legend. It is a literal translation to the name given to the beautiful beach close to Obsidian vineyard.
