A superb camp ground, close to town and other aminaties, all so walk to blue penguin colony, highly recommend. Also next to children's steam punk inspired children's play ground with steam punk themed bq's,, and close to town and Victorian quarter, also close to steam Punk museum, a great place to stay love it
One of the nice places to stop and visit when in South Island, old but has been preserved for people to see especially the Victorian buildings.

One of our favourite places in the SI. We catch penguins free of charge any night we stay here. The playground is just a minute of walk from the campground.
Amazing stay ! We paid 49$nz for non powered site for 2 people . Kitchen and bathroom are super clean and tidy, location is perfect, between city and the Penguin on the bay , Penguin even come in the camping after 21pm ! And really nice staff : would definitely go again if I come near by !
