An absolute gem of a backpacker! I am staying here right now and I am completely blown away by this place. The hostel has the most beautiful, fairy-tale-like garden filled with an incredible variety of succulents. You can tell the owner has put so much love, care, and creativity into this place—using driftwoods, old bicycles, and wheelbarrows as plant pots is pure genius!nThe vibe here is incredibly relaxing and welcoming. It feels much more like a warm home than just a place to sleep. Everything is clean, comfortable, and full of character. It’s definitely one of the best backpackers I’ve ever stayed in. Highly, highly recommend!
Very clean and tidy. Great location and views. Take ear plugs as the noise travels easily. Tea and coffee and breakfast items available to use although no milk was there during our stay.
It's totally self-check-in, so there's not really any front desk service or much hostel vibe.nnAll the parts are still there, nice kitchen, free tea, cereal etc, nice lounge area and a cool garden with herbs growing. It's quite clean.nnRooms are pretty good, my double had a view out to the bay as well as the garden.
Its definitely not luxury accommodation but always clean and good value for what youre paying. The location is very convenient to the old part of town but at times parking is hard to find near the accommodation
Really nice place, the facilities are really well maintained and it is to see that a lot of tough went into the small details. There is a theme of penguins through the entire house. Needs are super comfortable. The kitchen has everything you may need. The location is not the best but is just a couple of minutes to walk. Until now the best backpacking hostel I have been in the southern island.
