Highly recommend this motel it has high standards , very impressed by the cleanliness and helpful staff .nWill definitely stay here again .
Very clean, newly refurbished room with clean, new carpet. Good shower. Bed a little on the hard side but I slept well nonetheless. There's no air con, and not many windows to open so we were rather stuffy and hot. Menus for the advertised restaurant were in our room, so we chose what we wanted for dinner, and walked down, only to be told that it was Chinese bookings only. They probably did us a favour as we found good places to eat in town- Fat Sally's for dinner and The Brydone hotel for breakfast.
Really disappointing. Reception lady was nice. Due to being a bit under the weather and nothing else available in town due to rugby overflow from Dunedin. Had to pay $285 for a poorly maintained, paint peeling, broken towel rails with mould on the bathroom wall. Understand it was school holidays however their website advertised $130.00 for that particular date. Quietly and politely queried if a mistake had been made and was told the boss said they had to charge more than double what was advertised. Again very disappointed
It was a excellent price for 2 nights :clean and modern.n.nIt is wintertime :so we happy to rest in the room.nStaff were helpful and friendly .nClose to stores :lots of food options
Can't fault this place. Good rooms, very clean,all facilities provided. Very warm. Great shower.quiet. our 2 bedroom unit has its own private courtyard. We haven't had to ask for anything as everything expected is done very efficiently as a matter of course. Has it's own restaurant for great breakfast and dinner options. Would recommend to anyone.
