It was a excellent price for 2 nights :clean and modern.n.nIt is wintertime :so we happy to rest in the room.nStaff were helpful and friendly .nClose to stores :lots of food options
Really disappointing. Reception lady was nice. Due to being a bit under the weather and nothing else available in town due to rugby overflow from Dunedin. Had to pay $285 for a poorly maintained, paint peeling, broken towel rails with mould on the bathroom wall. Understand it was school holidays however their website advertised $130.00 for that particular date. Quietly and politely queried if a mistake had been made and was told the boss said they had to charge more than double what was advertised. Again very disappointed
Very clean, newly refurbished room with clean, new carpet. Good shower. Bed a little on the hard side but I slept well nonetheless. There's no air con, and not many windows to open so we were rather stuffy and hot. Menus for the advertised restaurant were in our room, so we chose what we wanted for dinner, and walked down, only to be told that it was Chinese bookings only. They probably did us a favour as we found good places to eat in town- Fat Sally's for dinner and The Brydone hotel for breakfast.
Wifi so bad it's useless, weak signal that cuts out every couple of minutes. Beds so worn out you roll off the edges. Toaster smokes on lowest setting... and warning signs that they charge $450 if it sets off smoke alarm. Definitely not staying here again.
Unfortunately, me and my family stayed in this place over the weekend has a bit of hygiene problem in the bathroom.nEspecially the toilet seat is broken and cannot stay up, we have to hold the seat one hand with another hand on the bathroom while we go on our business...nIt was quite disappointed overall the stay in this place!nParking is good tho!
