North Harbour Water Polo Club

I joined this club about 11 years ago. In those years, I have been welcomed into a family that consistently supports, grows, and pushes you to your highest potential. This club has exceptional expertise in leadership, coaching, and administration. Harbour's ability to take on new players year after year and develop them into fantastic athletes and exceptional human beings is unlike any I have seen before.

North Harbour has been an amazing club to be apart of with enthusiastic and passionate coaches that care deeply about the players. Since I was nine years old I have been taught both teamwork and skills that have taken me a long way and have secured my love for the sport, my teammates and the club. From flippa ball to senior women's I have enjoyed and loved every minute of my time with the club and I highly recommend coming to North Harbour to play in a great environment that you will never forget.

One of the best clubs I've ever played for. The clubs has a great development programme that has seen many New Zealand representatives pass through it. If anyone is wanting to join I would recommend this club over any another due to the awesome coaches. Go North Harbour!!!

The North Harbour Waterpolo Club has an outstanding culture combined with superb leadership structures. The coaches are highly experienced and ensure that the well-being and safety of its members are a priority. I am so lucky I joined NHWP at the age of 9. 16 years later, all my best friends are from this club. My coaches taught me all about commitment, teamwork, and putting in the hard work to get results. NHWPC was an incredible club when I joined in 1993 and it is even better today. As a player, coach, supporter and parent and member for 26 years I have had nothing but positive experiences. As a parent of a current u12 player I can attest to the quality and care of the administration, the coaches and the managers.

North Harbour Waterpolo Club is an outstanding organisation. I have been a member of this club since 2007 and during my time here, I have observed an amazing culture that strives to continually develop players from grassroot levels and up. No matter your age, ability or skill I can guarantee that you'll have a spot at North Harbour. This club has given my son so many opportunities to play, coach and learn what it to be part of a wider team environment. I thoroughly recommend it to any one wanting to bring their young players to.

Many of my teenage and early adult years were spent with NHWP. I was always impressed with the professionalism of the club, hard work of coaches and management and the top facilities that we got to train in each day. I made lifelong friends and learnt lessons I take with me years later.

Best club in New Zealand possibly the world. Absolutely a family vibe around the pool from flippa ball to senior men’s. highly recommend joining for a season because you will end up staying for life
