Not a good experience here. $10.50 for six thin slices of garlic bread. Four Main meals took forty minutes to arrive. Two groups that arrived after us received their meals before us. Cannelloni looked liked someone had sat on it, squashed it flat, put it in a microwave for a few minutes and then under a grill for a few seconds, it came with a small side salad, no dressing and two thin slices of ciabatta. Not worth $29. The response given when I spoke to staff was that one of the other two tables received their meals first because they had ordered something that staff were already cooking and that the price of the cannelloni reflected what it cost them to make. The owners should look at images of food from other restaurants, and also the cost of their meals. The Lone Star Vegetarian Campfire Burrito for $24 is a good example of some well presented fairly priced food. I hope the new owners read this and change some things.
Neat to go back after about 12 years or so. Seems like it may be a real locals pub. Nothing at all had changed, nothing. It was cold so we didn't take our jackets off and i.nor to keen of steak with blood. Probably won't go back.. sorry
Possibly the best lamb shank ever. Staff very friendly. I'll be back again. This is the first time I've posted a nice revue about a place so I recommend it to every one
Great food and value! And the owners are just so friendly, a rare gem these days.
A great place for s good meal and a friendly atmosphere.
Good vibes, brilliant staff who bent over backwards to make our private function a winner. They fully catered and the food was fab.
Great food. Good atmosphere. Friendly publican and a reasonable range of craft beers at a really good price.
Awesome atmosphere great owners Richard and Susanne they go out of their way to accommodate what ever u need they have a great selection of craft beers and great selection of meals including Gluten Free options
We throughly enjoy going to the Normanby Tavern for dinner as a family. It is very reasonably priced, great sized meals and very friendly owners. Well worth a visit.
Great wee Kiwi "locals" pub! 44 craft beers to choose from. Sunday pool competition. Bistro out the back serving fine kiwi fare. Pokies off to the side if you favour a wee flutter. Anti Trump memes in the bathroom and the owner is related to the famous New Zealander Fred Dagg. This is a great wee pub with friendly staff and patrons.
