Mitchells Tavern

Cheap food, but little atmosphere, granted it is a bar.. Large plates. I enjoyed mine, but others at our table didn't. I had the fettuccine, but it wasn't like fettuccine, it was pasta in a creamy sauce, with fried chicken and mushrooms added, and red onion. My son had the rib eye. He was happy.

My flatmates and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals and we're totally stuffed with food when we left! Thanks for the great food Mitchells! Desserts are superb

Meals are always consistantly very good as is the menu and prices. Staff are very pleasant and attentive.

Loved the Roast of the Day. The staff did very well this particular Sunday as dining at lunchtime was booked out. The food and service was commendable.

Nice food , cold beer , not to loud but the Waiter could do with better hygiene practices .

Had nibbles after my fathers funeral. Dad loved coming here for a mesl, infact its the only place he would come to. We had sandwiches, savories and hot platters. All really good. Lovely waitresses and bar staff. I would recommend coming here. 5 stars from me.
