Tasty specials, good friendly service even tho they were full which is nice. Flavourful with fresh ingredients. Everything was served warm and we'll presented. Make good use of the outside seatings on a sunny Wellington day with sunscreen, some tables have umbrellas.Food: 5/5

Great place. Coffee was lovely. The food was great. Avocado toast tasted wonderful. The porridge was great. The scone was delicious, tad more muffin like but still very yummy.

Great place for brunch on a weekend. One of the few places that opens for reservations. The eggs and toasts were good. So was the coffee. Best options - Kedgeree The Cheese Scone was only microwaved, not toasted though. But they let us know in advanced.Food: 4/5

Very disappointing and appalling customer service. Arrived on Mother's Day for a special brunch and they said even though we had a reservation we had to to sit outside. It was a particularly cold day and nobody wanted to sit outside. When we asked why we could not sit inside when there were many free tables available they said, they were booked and could not be given to us. It was not clear what criterion was being used to direct some guests outside and some inside, especiall when we had asked for an inside table . Asked to speak to the manager and it turned out that was whom we were speaking with. She was intransigent with the best being offered was some blankets we could use to cover our laps. That was clearly not acceptable and we left to go elsewhere.

Popped in after lunch hoping for a quick drink and snack. Took ages to get coffees. Not sure if understaffed, disinterested staff or inefficient process to blame. Other patrons heard complaining brought the atmosphere score down too. My first visit so can't say if standards dropping or an unlucky day. Vegetarian options: Unjustifiable $1 extra charge for oat milk needs calling out Kid-friendliness: Service slow so best to not expect kids to enjoy it

Dined in today with a group of friends. Once seated, were moved to another table due to some confusion over the reservation. Ordered the beef burger for a whopping $30 and it was terrible! Overloaded with onion and the texture of the beef pattie was gritty! Hard to believe a cafe can serve something like this and charge top dollar. Hopefully this was a one-off and won't happen to any other customers.

If I could rate this place higher than 5, i would. The presentation is beautiful, food taste is amazing. Would definitely come back to try the others.
