Nice beautiful cafe inside a garden centre. Great selection of food and great coffee. Fairly priced coffee and cabinet food. Pretty much always open even during public holidays. Plenty of tables inside and outside, can accommodate large group. Dogs and kids friendly. Has a very nice fully sheltered play house, perfect for wet weather.
I just wanted to thank the people at Nichol's who answered the phone about the headphones I left behind and dropped it off for me on their way to deliver other things because I don't have a car. Thank you so so much Richard and Kiera - hope I got the names/spellings right. The food from the cafe was yummy, and they have cute little succulents and hyacinth bulbs but the best part of my experience was the service. Thank you again.
Fabulous food, great atmosphere, attentive staff. Always a pleasure to dine here. Suggest pre booking.
Breakfast at Nichols is always a fave for me. Can't beat sitting in the garden setting, drinking fantastic coffee and having a lovely hot breakfast on a crisp Dunedin morning.
We had lunch here, nicely presented food at reasonable prices were offered. The Cafe is situated ibside the centre with seating offered in the plant section which would be lovely on a summer day ... even found a very nice plant on sale as a thank you present.
