Doughbin Bakery and Restaurant is a great little bakery serving up quality food at very reasonable prices. The pies are an absolute standout at only $6.50 — packed with generous filling, loaded with flavour, and definitely great bang for your buck. Friendly atmosphere, tasty food, and hard to leave without grabbing an extra pie for later. A solid local spot well worth stopping at!
My banana Milkshake came only half full and lukewarm and not cold like it should be, the milk itself tasted old barely any banana flavor it it, it was more foam than liquid.nIts honestly disappointing because i expected better from a local resteraunt.nI dont have much money and I just wanted to treat myself to a banana milkshake after some hard work and when it came it wasnt even enjoyable, i was hoping that $6 wouldve been worth it
Went to Doughbin for lunch and a coffee. The place looked nice and cosy.nOrdered a steak and cheese pie, a steak pie, cheese roll and a latte, chips and a cookie. The latte was nice and standard. Unfortunately they had no coke or coke Zero which was a first.nThe pies were good and pastry was nice. Had a good amount of meat in them and no surprise filings. The steak and cheese didn't have much cheese or any on the inside which was slight disappointing.nChips had far too much salt, had a good taste and potential despite this.nCookie was amazing, would get that again.nAtmosphere was okay, they have a hall area you can dine in which felt a bit more like an art gallery than a cafe as there were no windows, despite that it wasn't that bad. Service was good.
Absolutely wonderful. Delicious pies and friendly staff. Warm seating area with unfortunately no windows. The bathrooms are clean.nnMy favourite items from the menu is the mince pie and the gingerbread man.
Ordered through uber eats, got the banana milkshake, steak and mushroom pie, sausage roll and cream cake. Milkshake was warm when arrived, could’ve been the uber driver but the milkshake tasted off, even after refrigeration, it was mostly foam with barely any liquid, and the cup was only filled halfway. Sausage roll was short, didn’t have any photos online, pie was meh, barely any mushrooms. Cream cake was okay too. Wouldn’t recommend, heavily disappointed especially as we are low income and just wanted to treat ourselves for a brunch. Not worth almost $30.
