Story

IT’S EASY TO FIND this humming Café set in the middle of Nichols Garden and Landscaping Center on the intersection of the Cromwell Queenstown-Wanaka Highway. Just look for the signs and if you are travelling either way you can’t miss it. There is plenty of free parking and easy access.

LOCALS & TRAVELERS SHOULD STOP because this Café is perfect for everyone. Overlooking the Wooing Tree vineyard, and the Allan Scott “Scott Base” vineyards.

TRIO OF HOSTS.... ALAN, LOUISE,& JOSH (and Jerry Springer Spaniel of course) and their keen team of staff are always ready to serve you up a good Cafe experience.

Serene ambience with a quaint garden view. We had the egg salad wrap and the BEST fried chicken and potato waffles. Free flow of and sparkling water is available which is thoughtful.
I had the Brunch Burger and an iced latte - and it was amazing! They clearly use fresh, top quality milk for the coffee, and the brunch burger had all homemade ingredients including homemade hash brown, sausage and chutney. Will definitely come back if I’m anywhere near here!
Food and coffee were enjoyable, however the service could be majorly improved. When asking if a slice had peanuts in it the lady serving bluntly advised that she didn’t know and would have to check the recipe and she can’t do that, then after explaining that my almost 3 year old was anaphylactic to peanuts and could she please ask the chef who was standing right behind her to advise she refused. In the past 2 years navigating a severe nut allergy for our child we have never came across anyone in the food industry who blatantly refused to help. Very disappointed.
The pork roll was absolutely delicious . Full of flavor and toasted to perfection. As for the Mini Mocha Cake, abit dry but okay when paired with the hot chocolate. Will definitely go back to try something else.
Absolutely the best service, they even repotted the two tomatoes plants into the two large plant pots we were buying. WOW that wouldn't happen in many places. Thank you for the marvelous service. We also had a very nice coffee at their Cafe, they also know how to make a proper cupachino.
Great iced coffee, milkshake a little bland and lacked substance. Cinnamon scroll was good, warm with generous helping of butter, and delivered to the wrong table first. Caramel square nice but small.
Waited for 20 minutes and the second time we complained, they realized that our coffees were made for take away and are standing around with nobody noticing. They made new ones, but no apology or anything. Surprising how much you can screw up to serve coffee in a cafe.

Comfortable cafe with plenty of tables, quick friendly service and good menu for brunch. Perfect poached eggs
Came here for Breakfast. Luckily no queues! First diner had Eggs Bene with bacon First diner wouldve preferred a little butter on the English muffin but I guess they are trying to cater for all tastes and not just one. Second diner ordered an Asian chicken dish. Apparently the only thing wrong with it was that it wasnt enough. Not a bad complaint to have! Service and coffee was fine.
