Very interesting highlight in the area. Hourly guided groups visiting about 45 minutes. Photos allowed .. qualified researched information presented with a portion of humor.. Just turn into their driveway have a break on your journey and enjoy something exceptional.. At the exit of the excursion you must be fit enough to climb a ladder 4-5 meters . Take good shoes or trainers and a jacket.. it is a bit cooler in the cave.
This Caving experience was out of this world. Our guide was extremely informative And made the whole experience a lot of fun. At $30pp It is an experience that will last with you a lifetime. A definite must do if you are in the areaVisited onWeekendWait time30–60 minReservation recommendedNo
It's definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a day trip or on the way to Golden Bay. Rob, the guide, is very knowledgeable on the cave and surrounds. It's a short tour but we'll worth it.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
What a wonderful and interesting guide, so passionate and keen to share his knowledge of the cave and local geology/ history. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit and would highly recommend it to people passing through the area. Hardly much physical effort at all to meander through the caves.Visited onWeekdayReservation recommendedNot sure
It's too hard for my body. Does look pretty cool from the office video. My spine won't allow me to climb steps or ladders, so I couldn't do it, unfortunately.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
I was unable to enter the caves due to lose mobility but viewing pictures in the shop was enjoyable. Lovely to see historical pictures.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
Beautiful tour of an amazing cave. The guide is passionate about the caves and the tour itself. Not to miss!
Yesterday was my second visit to this cave and the experience was absolutely amazing, the guide called Nancy who made our tour explained everything in detail and took care of us every second! Thanks!
Tours run on the hour between 10am and 3pm for $30 for an adult. The tour guide was nice and informed us about the cave as we moved through it. There is plenty of parking a you can have a drink and snack at the cafe. There are also toilets before you enter. Suitable for most people although there are quite a few stairs, a few slippery bits and a ladder at the end to exit.
Interest place. Very good and clean facilities. Easy walk. The tour takes about 45 min. Run every 1 hour, starting at 10am. The guider is amazing! Kids friendly. Really nice plan to do in a rainy day. Cold inside, bring jackets.
