Has always been my favorite supermarket. Pricing was generally higher so I've shared my shops between NW and Woolworths as I'm now retired. I play the 'Specials' game to balance it out.
Our new local and loving it! Friendly staff, aisles easy to negotiate. Good selection of foods but would love to see more low sodium, no sugar, low carb options.
New World tricked me into entering into their buying scheme wherenyou get and save tickets for a reward you can aim and collect for $20.00/ticket When I was about to get to the required number I was told there were no more tickets and there was not going to be any more tickets. On leaving the shop I noticed there was still products available! Designed to attract /bribe customers into the store - it worked with me but now here's the thing I now will not go back again so they loose $150 to $250 / week from now on.nSo didn't work for New World in the long run - Short term gain long time loss.
I recently completed a survey of this shop and intend using this review to add to it.nMy main concern us that some of the meat specials are in a cabinet behind the check out which you only see after checking out. Not good planning.nThe other concern I have is about this meat cabinet and what assurance do NW staff have that if I ducked down before doing my shopping to get some of the meat specials behind checkout, that I am not going to walk out the door with the goods. I don't think that has been very well planned
Lots of brands, that the other supermarkets, don't sell , and great quantity, with reasonable price range, for top quality foods and products
