What a great little supermarket. The staff were friendly and helpful. Right on New Year's Eve and starting to get towards closing time. The team continued to work with excellence, stocking shelves, serving customers, helping with trollies, and preparing for closing without compromising customer service.nI was really impressed. The night manager and her team made a great effort. I had never been to this store before and I needed to buy a lot of basics and enjoy specials since I have just moved to the area. I spent at least two hours in store and it was such a pleasure to shop here, that I will purchase groceries from here again in future.
Well set out and heaps of fridges. Even red wine was cool.Nice staff. Use your New World card for cheaper prices. Slightly difficult entry from a few roads.
Best service in the country, thanks Finn and unfortunately I can't remember the other young man on checkout today with him! Friendly, personable and did an amazing job of packing my groceries!
Sadly this supermarket has drastically gone downhill over the past couple of years. The produce department is far from fresh, they regularly have rotten fruit and veges on display at rather expensive prices. Sadly the shelves are often empty, as if there hasnt been enough stock ordered, or not enough staff to put the stock out. The amount of times I've popped in to grab a loaf of bread only to find none on the shelf is ridiculous.nIf rumours are to be believed the current owners do nothing to discourage bullying in the workplace. The previous owners were frequently on the shop floor helping out, I've never seen the new owners in all the times I've been into the store since they took over. New world Blenheim is no longer the go to supermarket for fresh produce or great customer service.
Full service supermarket that is a standalone building. Huge with all the stuff one would expect for a grocery store - bakery, butcher, fish, produce, dairy, frozen and a large section of pharmacy/over-the-counter/personal care. After working out how the labels and colors are different between the US and NZ, I was able to find what I needed.nnCheckout was easy and now I have a new bright red reusable shopping bag for my collection.
