Prices are a little higher than at some other supermarkets, but the quality and service make it worth it. Elian, the butchery manager, is always friendly and goes out of his way to help me. Great service, good quality products.
Today my partner and I got accused of stealing. Before we went into new world we went into the 2 dollar shop and I brought some of those mystery dumplings, I didn’t wanna see what it was but my partner did. We were in new world shopping, my partner had a look at what was inside the dumpling then put it back in my pocket. We continued shopping paid for our stuff at self check out and get stopped by a guy. This guy looked like he didn’t work at new world as he was in normal clothing and had shopping in his hand like he had just been shopping. He asked to see what was in my pocket and then said he saw my partner put something in my pocket which was the dumpling we brought previously what triggered me was this guy didn’t work at new world yet he was the one confronting us? there were workers next to him? Why did your guys workers let a random guy accuse us of stealing? Why wasn’t I asked from the workers in uniform considering they were right there with the guy. It was unprofessional and the way everyone went about it was plain rude.
I didn't get to see her name badge properly but I believe her name is Ashma apologies if I'm incorrect - she is fantastic. She actually helps show you things if you're having trouble finding something and checks up on you. She goes above and beyond. Usually supermarket staff just tell you the aisle to look in, but this staff member actually cares and goes out of her way to help. Thank you
Very disappointed. I went in yesterday Friday morning to buy my lunch and was looking at a bag which had Carol on it with something else and i asked the lady what’s in this and she said it’s one of the staffs lunch.nnI asked why would you put your lunch here? It should be removed else where.nnThe lady ignore me and put the pack back into hot food warmer. And walked away mumbling.nIt’s ashame because I’m a regular here.nnVery disappointed
This store has the rudest unfriendly help at self checkout I have ever come across . Normally ignorable but yesterday a lady I had never seen before was awful . Unbelievably rude to myself and the gentleman using checkout beside me . Change jobs if you don’t like people !
