Always offering very good deals. Love their selection of food and wine. Service is excellent. They are doing so well in looking after our community. Love their $20 meal deals. Staff are so friendly and helpful

I always go to the Porirua New World Al thought i have a New World in my village, but I travel all the way to purchase the Boerewors. For 6 years we go there every Saturday to buy Boerewors and the also getting our weekly groceries. I bought Boerewors this weekend and it was absolutely disgusting. There are so much rubbish in the Boerewors that we couldn’t it. I removed vanes, glands and everything but meat. It is so, so disappointing. I have revered so many people to buy Boerewors. It is such a shame that the quality went down hill.
I am a regular shopper at New World Porirua but I have noticed a pricing onigma. I prefer Roses Marmalades/Conserves but for awhile the Strawberry and Raspberry Conserves in the 500g jar have not been available. This week they have reappeared but in a 375g jar. Investigating further I found the price of the 375g jar is nearly the same price as the 500g jar. Added to this the fruit content has been reduced. Raspberry and Strawberry Conserves for example, the 500g jars each had 55% fruit content the 375g jars have only 42% raspberry. All these changes mean we are paying a lot more for a lot less. The unit cost per 100g went from $1.10/100g on the 500g jar to $1.42/100g on the 375g jar. Heinz Watties are the company who market Roses Marmalades. the Marmalades and Conserves are made in New Zealand. We continue to pay more for the little luxuries in life, when you watch the New World advertisement they are showing the their Pams products as the value for money products, but is the quality of these products the same.
