Stopped in as I had gone to woolies an pack n save prior both toilets out of use an i need to go. Pleasantly surprised that new world is open longer then pak n save, large clean store and all workers very happy for 9pm still helpful an chatty.nHad everything I needed an the music was a great sound track.nI found myself singing loud to it even while putting gas in my car which price wise was the best I found today.nWhen I'm up that way again New world will be my go to. Only wish getting out heading back to levin was easier as you have to drive up to lights and go all the way around to get back on main drag out of tow.
Was so impressed with the facing that all the staff in Grocery were doing, wanted to give them all a high five lol. Makes the store look so amazing. This one and the New World on Broadway are the best supermarkets in Palmerston North easily.
Over the years I have enjoyed the hot pork roast meals, Pork, Mash potato and Veg with gravy. Now its little roast squares of potato small amount of veg with a couple of shavings of pork, who the heck is packing these, disappointed its not the same as before.
Just went into New World pioneer. Thursday 11th June. Was very unimpressed with the staff working. Always seem to be targeted by one Indian lady who causes trouble and looks as though she gossips to the staff, third time this has happened. Got asked to verify my signature twice when it looked the same both times I signed. Will be going back in to get her name but will never shop here again.
Nice organized and kept supermarket. Can have some real premo deals .. that's the day to hit it. Fresh food, nice bakery, nice selection on meats and ice creams / deserts
