Earlier on this afternoon I was at new world paraparaumu, I was served by a very rude older woman at the customer service desk. I am always polite n friendly to staff. She spoke very rudely, to me. I politely asked her for a price list which all supermarkets have. Her reply was what do ya wanna know, I looked at her with surprise n responded that I'd like to see the prices please, she was very clearly annoyed at this. I could go on but I won't. My ten yr old son was with me and and as left the supermarket he said mum why was that lady mean to uou? I replied that perhaps she was having a bad day. My son said you should have said something. I wish I did. It's put me right off going back there again. Other staff there have always been lovely but definitely not this woman !
The customer service received from Wendy leaves a lot to be desired. I have never been treated with such disrespect when spending money. I've shown my ID 6 times this week to Wendy specifically and even with my partner having ID I was refused along with an attitude and some sense of pride. I'm 36 years old. Please retrain this member of staff. Common sense should prevail. I won't be returning to New World Kapiti
Great selection of premade foods that helped us out for the road trip north. Sushi, hot pies, fruit salads, bakery scrolls. Lots of gluten free and alternative food sections. Toilet on site.
This is a very nice supermarket, best on the Kapiti Coast by far. The interior has a more retro interior which is nice. Customer service is superior to other supermarkets around. It is also a great place to work.
