There's an extremely older woman that works at the customer service desk, i asked her a question and she very rudely replies what do you want to know. I was surprised by her response that i decided to leave. As i was leaving i witnessed her accusing an elderly pensioner of stealing and demanding to see the receipt. It's disgusting you employ such impertinent people to work at your store. The store wasn't busy and i can see why. I have been put off shopping at your store again. After reading other reviews on here, it looks like this member of your staff has done this to other customers previously prior to it happening to me. My advice is to you to give this woman some training on how to behave on customer service, she was very impertinent and looked like she didn't even want to work there.
Earlier on this afternoon I was at new world paraparaumu, I was served by a very rude older woman at the customer service desk. I am always polite n friendly to staff. She spoke very rudely, to me. I politely asked her for a price list which all supermarkets have. Her reply was what do ya wanna know, I looked at her with surprise n responded that I'd like to see the prices please, she was very clearly annoyed at this. I could go on but I won't. My ten yr old son was with me and and as left the supermarket he said mum why was that lady mean to uou? I replied that perhaps she was having a bad day. My son said you should have said something. I wish I did. It's put me right off going back there again. Other staff there have always been lovely but definitely not this woman !
Very poor selection of non white bread rolls, Ciabatta .nOne pack of very small and minimal wholemeal rolls.nVery unexciting selection considering what they could do in such a big kitchen.nFamily size meat pies, steak, mince and NO Cheese or garlic please.
This is a very nice supermarket, best on the Kapiti Coast by far. The interior has a more retro interior which is nice. Customer service is superior to other supermarkets around. It is also a great place to work.
Best New World in the Lower North Island! The Butcher was so helpful, I asked him to cut my chicken breast into 100gm pieces for me, which is not only messy to do but the thought of cross contamination scares me, I'm not gonna lie lol so having a helpful butcher that has safe practices around this is just amazing! Thanks for hiring friendly, helpful staff and nailing the Kapiti Coast astetic in your design.nnDefinitely a vibe!
