Neudorf Vineyards

We had a wonderful afternoon at the cellar door last week! Reuben and Rosie were very knowledgable and helped us purchase a great selection of half glasses to enjoy in the garden. Neudorf Chardonnay is among some of the most elegant we have tried. So pleasant doing it in such a beautiful setting. Our new favourite Silly Season Sipping venue!

Came here with high expectations from Auckland as wine is very good and tasty but was greeted by a Cold, uninviting lady in mid 40s with mousey brown hair. Just handed me a menu of their wines and didn't seem at all very helpful. I got better service at the ice cream caravan parked up at Tahunanui Beach. Will be spreading the word based on this experience

The women that "helped" us with the tasting was the most unwelcoming I had met in NZ. The highlight was when I asked a question about a wine and in response we were given a sheet of paper to read as "she speaks fast and it will be easier for us". Following this she just ignored us until we finished. Their garden is beautiful to sit in with a glass of wine.

Visited Neudorf on Sunday just been and was very impressed. We enjoyed a delicious wine tasting Ps. they donate tasting proceeds towards rescue helicopter!, the grounds are beautiful with nice seating options outside in the sunshine, the woman serving us was lovely, the jazz music playing was smooth, and the picnic shop corner is such a great idea! After wine tasting, enjoyed a glass of their dry Riesling and chose some beautiful local picnic items Brie cheese, freshly baked and warmed ficelle mini baguette, local jar of beetroot plum relish, and some olive oil infused oat crackers, plus Kumar a crisps. Everything was very fairly priced and it was a beautiful way of spending the afternoon on our way back to Nelson. We’re thankful that Owen River Lodge’s host Felix recommended Neudorf to us.

Great place to visit even on rainy day. Wine was beautiful and service was great. Basket was yummy. Well worthy a visit.

I’ve always had such wonderful experiences at Neudorf so when I had family visiting over the Christmas period it was a perfect excuse to head out to Upper Moutere and show off what our region has on offer. We visited during the peak of Christmas busyness and were looked after from the moment we walked in the door. It was lovely to be in such a serene, relaxed location during such a hectic time of year! Thank you!

Will not find a better setting for sampling the regions wine with a stunning view in a peaceful setting. Neudorf vineyard is part of my annual calendar now and the personal family feel you get from meeting the owners tops the whole experience off.

Excellent wines! Especially like the rosè. Awesome place to sit and have a drink looking over the vineyard.

Went to 3 vineyards before hand and had worst customer experience. Didnt want to sell their product, didnt seem in love with it, but disappointing as weve now gone to martinborough, otago, hawkes bay, matakana and my god they sell their wines! This vineyard was thankfully more welcome and their rose we brought the big 3litre of it and it went down a treat! Setting was beautiful really neat, and kids toys so good. Defo recommend

Fantastic experience with Ruben. Very thoughtful tasting, challenged my perceptions on the classics. Also sells wines by the half glass to enjoy in their luxe backyard, overlooking the vineyards.
