The hotel was nice and a good location. We travelled as a group of 4 for a single night away. The water for the shower was average. 3minutes in to washing my hair and body, the water started to go cold. The shower was average and had to almost rotate to get wet properly. The room had a bath but we didn’t feel would could actually use it.
An average NZ motelnThe place was clean although the dishes had to be washed, they were not clean.nThe upstairs unit was sunny, but not double glazed so it got cold at night.nThe hot water was variable and ran hot to cold quickly, really not acceptable in winter.nThey seemed reluctant to make the bed daily but did change the towels.
A group of 4 of us traveled to motueka so I could choose my wedding dress, we decided to stay over the night and chose to stay here.nApon arrive I go to check in and am met with what felt like cold, almost annoyance from the lady at the counter.nLast minute one of the people that I didn’t think were going to make it did and the lady rudely told me it would be an extra $30 which I was unaware but paid for.nnThe positives:n-That the room and bath were lovely and clean, bed -was super comfortable & had electric blanketsnGood heat pumpn-able to access our YouTube on the tv.nnThe negatives: I chose to stay for the use of the bath which when I filled it up only once it was luke warm which was really disappointing.nIn the morning when dropping the key off I was asked by the same lady behind the counter if I’d had a bath which I said yes and she said in what felt like an accusatory manner that I had used all the hot because the bath takes a lot of water to fill and that another guest complained of having no hot water for their shower.nnI mentioned my displeasure of the cold bath and got met with “it’s on gas and takes alot to recover”nnFor a trip that I intentionally booked to have a relaxed bath has left a sour taste & the customer service is not very good at all.nnAt the end of the day we chose to stay here and it was the wrong choice, I just hope others have a better experience.
Not the greatest stay I've had there was there for a week room didn't get serviced only towels got changed by day three had to ask to have room vacuumed. 5 days and nothing.
A nice motel just a few minutes found the road from Abel Tasman. Really nice people run the joint and pride of ownership shows throughout the property.nnShort walk to many bars and restaurants and well stocked, in room coffee/tea station. Would stay there again. Really good wifi too.
