Really nice clean big rooms. Fantastic water pressure in shower, good and well set up kitchen. Little balcony to enjoy wine and dinner. Felt really private and our room had a beautiful view over paddocks and mountains. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Very easy walk to shops etc. Perfect for travelling with kids. Really nice stay, more than we expected. We ate at Toad Hall which was very charming and also great for kids.
This is a real gem of a find in Moteuka. It is styled as a motel. Rooms are huge, spacious and included full kitchens with microwaves. It is spotlessly clean and there is ample parking alongside a small, sheltered garden area with a braai barbeque unit which guests can freely use at thier leisure. The South African owners give a warm, kind and efficient welcome and can advise on where to visit in local area.nnIt's worth noting hotel is on Moteuka high Street and a stones throw from McDonalds, KFC, the Yorkshire tea cafe, supermarkets and amenities - essential for cooking.
Read reviews saying this accommodation is comfortable and modern, however my experience was very different.nnVery dated room which needs modernisation to befit the price. Wifi didn’t work. Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Only saving grace was the decent shower and good location. Sorry but wouldn’t recommend.
We stayed here for one night before we did the Abel Tasman coastal track. Everything was great - room spacious, clean, great shower, fully stocked with tea/coffee, cutlery, dishes. New World and the Warehouse are nearby to stock up on any last minute necessities. We got picked up by a shuttle the next morning and absolutely loved this comfortable and nostalgic motel room to recharge before our 5-day hike!
Great location, plenty of parking. Spacious quiet comfortable room with everything you need and best part a large comfortable bed! Large bath but spa bath didnt work sadly but didnt spoil the stay. Would def stay again perfect to walk into town for all restaurants and takeaways. Thank you for a great stay.
