Fantastic and quiet motel nestled a few minutes walk from all the shops in town and grocery store. I booked the studio for an early May stay and it was extremely spacious and had all the essentials, including heating for the colder months. Kathleen and Chris were very accommodating and helpful with any questions I had. You get your own parking space in front of your unit and lots of coffee and tea. A great place to stay to visit Abel Tasman National Park and other parts of the Tasman region.
Great hotel. The location on the main street is 5 minutes from the town center with stores and restaurants. We had a room with jacuzzi, spacious, in excellent condition, with a well equipped kitchenette. The view of the mountains provided a great panoramic pictures of sunset. Ample parking. Nice and hospitable owners.
From the checkin the host was unfriendly. When we reported issues of no batteries in heat pump remote, electric blanket wasn't working, fridge had been turned off and car park for our unit was not available, he was unconcerned. He responded it wasn't cold according to him, we could park elsewhere and would have to wait for electric blanket part so never replaced it for the 4 nights we were there. When we checked out he was just as unfriendly and didn't even look at me. We would definitely not stay there again due to the inhospitable host and his unwillingness to help.
A genuinely lovely, homely motel in a great location. We were pleasantly surprised by how warm and welcoming it felt — the owners were friendly, very helpful, and it’s clear they put real care into the place. Motueka had everything we needed, and the motel made an excellent base for day trips into Abel Tasman for hikes.nWould absolutely stay again and highly recommend.
Chris and Kaylene were amazing and went the extra mile giving us a great room on the ground floor. The room was very clean, tidy and had all the amenities. It was lovely to watch the sunset from the back patio. They arranged for us to book in earlier as we were doing the Abel Tasman cruise and needed to unload our luggage. Five stars will definitely stay again.
