Nature Kids is an ECE in Motueka for 2 to 6 year olds with a foundation philosophy “let nature be your teacher” www.naturekids.co.nz

Story

Taking ideas from nature kindergartens in Europe where children learn through nature and build strong connections with the natural world, as much time as possible is spent outside.

Nature Kids, set on 1.5 hectares, has a country environment which is close to town with a friendly, welcoming, nuturing homelike atmosphere and extensive outdoor facilities utilising what nature has provided.

We want Nature's Kids.....

Mission

Nature Kids vision is to engage children in rich learning experiences, cultivate strong family connections, in a safe homely centre focussing on our extensive, rural surroundings.
Building strong connections and trusting relationships, empowering and enabling individuals, families and schools to work together to create healthy, peaceful and sustainable communities
We will share with parents the vital role of nurturing and educating the children in our care through the development of trust, security and our natural environment.
We will provide experiences which will encourage the social, emotional, cognitive, physical and aesthetic development of the individual child.
