Designed under the stars of the Southern Cross, Nativo NZ candles are hand poured for your wellbeing; made with the most natural soy wax, infused with highly purified fragrance oils, and burning a completely untreated cotton wick. Hypo-allergenic.

Story

I have always loved candles, from when I was little we always had them through our home. Every night we would pull out our long white national candles and put them into various candlesticks of different shapes and forms and we would make a ritual out of going around our house to light them. This obsession carried through to most places we went to so that even when we would go to hunting huts in the middle of the NZ bush we would take candles along with us and light them.

One of my favourites places in New Zealand is our family Bach at great barrier island, there is no main grid electricity on the island so to this day when we go over there we still live by candlelight. So to me lighting a candle has always been about enjoying your life it is a symbol of love and hope and happiness and it is about being with your family and friends. It is also about doing something simple and small in your day that will make you feel better. So my aim with Nativo has been to introduce some way that in our busy lives we can find a small moment in our day to improve how we feel emotionally.

Thus I came about with the idea to produce a range of organiluxe perfume therapy with four different fragrances which have been designed for your emotional wellbeing. The four scent ranges are Radiate for increasing confidence, Meditate for bringing calm, Lovelight for romance and Starlight for rest.
